Paul Callegari

"This doctor was a blessing and very attentive to my needs. He was my greatest cheerleader. I'd recommend him to anybody considering bariatric surgery!"

Luis Gorospe

"I attended the group meeting on 5/14/03. I was impressed by his sense of humor and sincerity in dealing with large patients. When I met with him privately, I fell in love when he said he would remove my large, pendulous "apron" at the same time as the gastric bypass! I burst into tears. I had no idea that could be done! He recommends this procedure for my age/risk group due to the potential for incisional herniation and complications. He said I will awaken from surgery with "a little, round belly" and will have to learn how to walk without it! I will feel like Cinderella! He said I would leave the hospital 50-75# lighter than when I go in! Talk about a jump start!!! PTL! He is requiring that I have a vena cava filter installed to prevent blood clots from traveling from my legs to my lungs/heart. He is very careful and thorough, which I deeply appreciate. I've heard nothing negative about Dr. G and I have nothing negative to say at this point. I will post again after I have more experience with him."

Southcrest Hospital

"I'm so glad I gave Southcrest another chance after my initial disappointment with the Upper GI series. The Bariatric Floor nursing staff and all the doctors are TOP NOTCH! They deserve the best!"
