Steven Murray

"He's a younger dr. with children my child's age. I have a 4 yr. old and a 17 yr. old. He really listens about my depression and pre menopausal pains. We dicussed the wls and he said it sounded like a good idea to him. He was very encouraging."

"I went for my first consult with him on 3/6. I think he was disappointed because I didn't ask alot of questions. I was under the assumption that this meeting was just that. A meeting for myself and the good doctor to get aquainted. I had been through the consult with the dr. at the BTC in Columbus. He was very informative to my friend that went with me. I was impressed with his manner. He informed me of how surgery would go and after how I would feel and things that would change. He also let me know of the risks. His office staff I was not thrilled with. The scheduler was a tad rude in my opinion. My friend thought so to. I already have the approval of my ins.company, and evidently this puts a curve in her otherwise straight day. My head of human resources took it upon herself, knowing how depressed I was after the 2nd denial after being approved, to push the approval through on our new policy. I did not even know that she had, and this confused the scheduler. But as long as she gets it worked out and there are no problems, and my surgery gets scheduled in a timely manner, well then alls well. They gave a time limit on the approval. The limit is up as of March 31, 2002. She says she will talk with them because the dr. is on vacation that week and can do it a week or 2 later. Hopefully I have a date in early April.. I think maybe she was just having a bad day. And my having an approval before seeing the dr. had made things different for her. I have to go to the BTC in Michigan because the one in Ohio doesn't accept my new ins. otherwise it would have been ok. and i would be haveing surgery in a couple of weeks. But it's all good."
