Well, it's 8 weeks now and I have been back to work 1 week now. It was great to get back but I really hurt and ache now. I have lost about 54 lbs. and it feels great! almost everyone either doesn't recognize me or wants to know who the new girl is. I'm not sure on how many inches I've lost but my first size down was from a 22 size to a 14,I haven't bought clothes this size since about 25 years ago. They really have some cute things now! I'm amazed! I'm still haveing trouble with the top part of the incision (IT HURTS A LOT) I think I might have pulled something lifting at work. I can't sneeze, cough or laugh yet either. Should it take this long to feel better? I don't mean to be gross but the gas is awful!!!!!! I have NEVER experienced anything like this! any suggestions? I try to get in enough walking but it's like minus 10 degrees to maybe 25 out now and I have no winter stuff because I was always so hot before and now I'm always cold(I may start to like summer now!) I'm off all blood preassure meds now, my BP went from 178 over 85 to 112 over 54 now isn't that great! I'm also having trouble getting down my A-Zinc pills even if I chop them up, can't take big enough gulp of water. also the calicum made me so so sick! I had gas and hurt like there was no tomorrow, I even had to take pain medication to help out. Well, can't think of any more to relay to everyone except the tumor that they removed at the same time as the RNY was NOT cancerous and that was great. thanks to all who sent e-mails to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm really doing well considering the 26' incision that I now have. The worst part of the whole thing was the NG tube (very uncomfortable and not fun to remove either.) I could live a very happy life if I NEVER had to have another one EVER. The tumor that they removed was the size of a soccer ball so I would like to encourage all to have their yearlys in a timely manner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Don't wait and do all the follow up also. I am walking great and would like to go outside but it's about 10 degrees. I'm one week today and want to be back to normal for christmas but oh well. Besides what is normal now, I'm still finding out. lot of problems getting in the cib because I DON'T like milk and swollowing a lot of air when I eat a popscicle or jello I don't know what I'm doing wrong but taking in all that air is not a good feeling. well, heres hoping that everyone has an easy time and remember to wear your binder.
