"I had my initial consultation with Dr. Bodner on 8/5/03. My first impression was a good one. He was very nice and very informative, covering everything about the surgery, aftercare and the pre-op things I would need. The thing I was impressed most about was that he has his patients go to intensive care for 2 days after surgery. then you are moved to a regular surgical floor. I feel that this is a neccessay step in order to monitor someone more closely. He also didn't sugar coat anything, I felt he was caring and thorough. I was able to schedule my pre-op work for two days later. I met with the nutritionist, had my bloodwork done, chest xray, and e.k.g. I will be seeing the doctor again on 9/16/03, hopefully we will bw setting my surgery date at this time. I already had a psych-eval done a few months back, so that s all set. I will update after my appt. "
