John S Lambert

"I liked Dr. Lambert from the start. He made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Lambert has a great sense of humor. He is very human. I see him every month at our group meetings and I have more respect for him each time. He truly cares about people who are obese. He really wants to help. He is there for us anytime we need him. I even called his home crying from being in so much pain when I came home from the hospital and he was very compassionate. He and I had an agreement before surgery. I take 2 Vicodin ES a day and would need something stronger for the pain. Well on the 2nd day his nurse Jerri refused to let me have anymore Demerol. Apparently she didn't know about our aggreement. She is nice but doesn't have any compassion when it comes to being in pain...sorry Jerri :) Betty who handles everything has been great. Always answers our questions, and does her best to help anyway she can. I like the fact that he didn't sugarcoat the situation. He was very serious about the risks. And didn't promise me a miracle. I really appreciated his honesty. He has both surgical competence and bedside manners. I had a Lap but when he attached my small intestine to the pouch there wasn't adequete blood flow, so he had to do open. But he told me this could happen. I would recommend him to anyone. I trust him that much. No doctor is perfect, but I would let him do surgery on me again without hesitation if needed."
