"I went to an informative seminar that she has as the first step. So that she can give everyone any information that they need to get approved or make an educated decision whether surgery is right for them. That was in Jan 04. I had to go through 6 mos of a physician supervised diet and be on a perscription for insurance purposes. I had my intial consultation the middle of July and got approved the middle of August and having surgery Sept 28, 2004. Her office has been very helpful and quick to respond to trying to find out what the next step was. I go for my physical in a week and a half. So far they have been prompt, kind, understanding, pleasant and educated. That was very important for me. I did not want to have it done locally because I did not feel that the people here in my own town were as skilled. Dr. McBride has done over 300 wls as of Jan 04. "
