Hi Peggy! Congratulations on your surgery date! This scripture has meant so much to me on my WLS journey. Jeremiah 29:11 - "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD , "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." I pray that you will claim this promise as your own as your journey takes you to a new healthier life. God Bless You

Congratulations on your surgery date! IT'S JUST TWO SHORT WEEKS and FIVE ITTIE BITTIE DAYS AWAY!!! YIPPIE AND YAHOO!!! I have some Zen Wisdom for you - Nothing exists but momentarily...One thing flows into another...observe things as they are, let everything go as it goes. This is to put everything under control in its widest sense. --- May God keep you close to his side as you travel your new journey. You will have ups and downs. You can always turn to us, your AMOS family, we will give support, comfort and encouragement. You will find this will be the best thing you could ever have done for yourself as well as your family. I know that was true for me. Keep us posted when you reach the "other" side. I pray for a speedy and easy recovery for you. Don’t forget to update your profile at least monthly. We all like to see how we are doing!!! Make sure you take pictures. It’s great to see the new you emerge!!! Not to mention the look on YOUR face when you look at those pictures and compare them in a few months! It’ll be a BIG WOW!!! Please remember too, that this is a *tool* to use. Make sure you use it wisely. The first year it’s pretty easy, after that I’ve been hearing that it gets increasingly difficult. Choose the right foods and measurements wisely! Thank you TT and Princess Splenda for your kind words of encouragement, I need it. Princess Splenda congratulations on your surgery Nov 16 and I know that you will come through it just fine. You will be on the losing side soon. May God be with you on your day guiding the hands of the surgeon. I know that as my day approaches (Nov 29) I will again become more anxious and scared, but for right now I think that I am more excited about becoming healthy again and that the weight loss is an added bonus!!! Princess if you think of it or have time could you please let me know how you made your page so pretty with the water and fishes. I would love to know how to do this. Well, once again thank you for your kind words and for all of your prayers. I will be praying for you both. Peggy
