"My first impression of Dr. Lautz was that he was a very caring, compassionate surgeon. He took the time needed to explain everything in detail and most important LISTENED to me. His office staff has been remarkable. I love the PA's and the secretary. They were all so helpful in my journey to get here. Actually is wasnt even a journey. I met him and boom everything was all set with a date before I left his office. No insurance problems for me. I was approved right away. Anyone in MA considering this surgery should check out he Brigham & Womans hospital and I highly recommend Dr. LAUTZ over anyone. The B&W has a structed support group, nutritionist, and office visits lined up to ensure my safe journey after the surgery. Dr. Lautz was extremely explanatory in the risk and dangers of this surgery. He informed me of every thing and answered all my questions. I would rate Dr. Lautz on a scale of 1 to 10 as a BIG 10. To me the most important thing in a surgeon is the expertise, their knowledge and their bedside manner. I want to feel as though the doctor is really listening to ME when I speak. Dr. Lautz IS THAT DOCTOR!!"
