"My first impression of Dr. Brown was I think i am going to like her. She was friendly and warm. She didn't mind answering my questions and didn't act annoyed when i told her I expected to be pampered.
Her assistant, Katie was wonderful also. Each time I have called the office with questions i have rec'd a return call within 24 hours if Katie was not available.
The office staff was nice and friendly as well.
There was nothing I did not like.
Future patients should know she is a female, which was a big plus for me.
We have not discussed aftercare yet,(other than the nutrition part).
She advised me of the risks. I have thoroughly researched this procedure so I am aware of risks. For me it balances the risks I place on my heart and other vessels each day I carry 285 lbs on my 5'2 body.
Surgical competence is very important. A great bedside manner though is also important because if you feel your doctor understands you it provides a trust and eliminates a huge stressor at a trying time."
