Thank you for being willing to tell me what you had done, especially in a public setting. You look fantastic and have encouraged me by your example, both in the water and out, to move forward with my life and trust God. I am currently looking into surgery, and though I am not 100% sure it's for me right now, I am inspired by you to find an answer. Thank you again for your willingness to share.

Today is my one year anniversary. I have had not one single problem of any kind. My surgery lasted 34 minutes during which he also repaired my hiatal hernia (for free). I stayed overnight in the hospital and went shopping the same day. I was back in water aerobics in 7 days. I never had a pain, nor too much gas, have never had nausea or vomiting. It could not have been easier! I have lost 95 pounds and gone from size 26 to 16. It is incredible. Although I am not one of the faster losers, what I have lost is incredible to me. I have replaced lots of fat with muscle as I work out a lot--water aerobics, weights, etc. I look and feel 100% better. I hope I can lose 50 more pounds in the coming year. I no longer have Type II Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, GERD, or Sleep Apnea. I only take meds for hypothyroidism, and a muscle relaxer and an antidepressent at night for Fibromyalgia. Of course I take lots of vitamins and supplements. I can do things that I had not been able to do in years. I am almost 61 years old, and my only regret is that I could not have this procedure done years and years ago. It has been a miracle from God! It has completely changed my life.
