" Dr. Cobean was very professional but with a sense of humor i think that is very important atleast for me. My impression has not changed i am 5 months out and truely feel he was the best choice i ever made.
His staff is wonderful and compassionate i was never critcized or asked why are you this way. they are all supporive of you the whole team and want to see you succeed that is very important for them to believe in you.
He is dedicated to helping us and is very humble about the amazing things he does to help people like me. I remember saying once thank you for saving me and the response was i gave you the tool you saved yourself.
The entire team as well as Dr. Cobean express the importance of aftercare and have a great program for people who want to participate the support groups are so helpful for me and i am glad that after the surgery we are not on our own. Dr. Coean was very upfront about the risks and in fact in several meeting retold them to me to make sure i understood. He was very honest and anwsered anyquestion i had.
I would rate him A++++++++++++++++++++++++ I think both surgical competence and bedside manner are both important and he has both he came in several times to check on me in the hospital before i went home as well did his nurse. I felt very well taken care of and would reccomend him to anyone who asked me who they should look at for this surgery. "
