Dear Friends: I'm doing very well on my three year anniversary. I've lost over 300 pounds now and am feeling very good, both physically and mentally (and I think I look very good). I know wear a size 38 pants (down from a 66), I wear a medium shirt (down from a 6x). It's great. If you're still considering whether to have the surgery, I would tell you whole heartedly to have it. While it's painful to begin with, the benefits far outweigh the pain. I'm not diabetic anymore, I don't take high blood pressure pills, gout pills, or anything other than my thyroid pills.
