If anyone is free, I could use an angel... :) My sugery is on Wednesday and I fly out on Sunday afternoon! Wish me good healing and a good surgery! ((((hugs))))) to all my AMOS family - even though I tend to be a lurker, I love all you guys and you really keep me going. Mary

I wanted to congratulate you on your upcoming surgery, I'm sure you are doing a happy dance, accompanied by some "NERVES', but don't worry be happy!!!! You are in my thoughts and prayers, I hope everything goes well and you are up and out and about real soon!!!!

Hi Mary, just wanted to tell you to hang in there. Sorry to hear you are having such a rough time of it right now but things will get better for you. Don't you feel good about your house being clean now? I haven't had the energy to clean house in a long time and that is one of the things that I am looking forward to most is having energy to clean the house. On the surface it looks clean, pretty much, but when you look at the closets and all it's a mess. I have 2 teenagers that help out some but no one seems to be inspired enough to do it. Anyway, I understand what you are going through and I hope you have a successful surgery and recover quickly. Hang in there and if you need a email buddy just give me a yell. Jackie Gilley

My very best wishes to you for a safe and successful surgery. May all of the "SURGERY ANGELS" swoop down to surround you and protect you and give you sweet angel hugs. My husband and I both had open rny's in 2001 and have lost a combined total of 315 lbs! YOU CAN DO IT TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mary - Just wanted to send good thoughts and prayers your way, regarding your upcoming surgery. I hope all goes smoothly and that you will be another one of the AMOS board's "incredible shrinking women!" Thanks for sharing the story about KFC and your wedding day. What a sweet thing for that little girl to say - and what a special mother! It made me cry! God bless you in your journey!

Mary, I get the impression that you are one FANTASTIC, STRONG woman! I believe that God answers all prayers and HE will answer yours! I know exactly where you are coming from! I'm having surgery August 7th and I'm like you, I am determined! If I die, I'm dying to LIVE! May God Bless You in all that you do and I wish you much Peace~~~

Thank you so much for your words of support everyone! I just got my paperwork confirming my flight to Louisiana for the surgery on Sept 15th is when I fly out ... surgery on the 18th. Getting more nervous by the day, but ready to get this over with and the new times beginning!
