Justin ~ When I read your posting on my surgery support site I felt like I knew you. Then I read your web page and I knew that I must know you. Well I wish it were true but I live 2000 miles away. There are connections though. My eldest son is 22, (don't let that put you off 'cuz I could be your mom LOL). He like you is a supper supportive individual. What strikes me the most is that you are so willing to share your experiences with the whole world to see. Need I not remind you that you are a guy and 22 yrs old. Those qualities are almost unheard of. I commend you on your self realization. You have nothing to hold yourself back. And I see that you are going to meet the gal of your dreams. Remember if a gal doesn't agree to hanging out (that's what they call it out here) then she is doing you a favor. She is keeping you single so when the right one comes along you will be ready. I want to thank you for your works of encouragement. We losers gotta all stick together.

Justin, Thank you so much for the kind note you sent to me. I appreciate all the help I can get. Ten days to go to surgery. I read you web pages, what a talented, inspirational young man you are. Keep up the good work, you are on your way to being a lady magnet. But more than that, you will have a much happier, healther life. Good luck on the rest of your journey and God Bless. Candy

Justin Where Are You??? I am worried about you. I haven't seen you on the boards or posting to surgery pages and you haven't updated your profile. I am hoping that all is well and you are just very very busy. Please let us know. We miss you:). My surgery is in 3 days and you are one of the people who have always been so supportive of me. Thanks for being you.

Justin, Thank you so much for the post. It really means a lot to me. Sorry you are having some problems, but please concentrate on the positive. You are doing well, despite everything. Glad for the good news on your Father. "Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done." Phil 4:6 Sandi/KY

Justin, Thanks for the support! Keep your chin up! Dont let that stoma get you down! :) Continue to think 'small pouch' and eat 'small pouch' :) You can do it! :) I understand about the change in attitude. I know I act alot more reserved now that I gained all this weight and when I get it off I know I am going to be WAY more outspoken and if people dont like me then they can stuff it! :) I wish ya the best!

Justin, thanks so much for your kind message. I'm not as nervous as I thought I would be. I have the best surgeon there is, our Lord Jesus Christ. I have faith that He will guide Dr. Denning's hands and be with me though the whole surgery. I do appreciate everyone's prayers, though. Never can have enough of those! :) Take care and God bless.

Justin, Thanks so much for your good wishes. My surgery is one week from today! It seemed such a long time to find a doctor who would take my insurance and then waiting for the date. Now it is almost. Your site is awesome! My 8 y/o grandson was impressed. Your story is great and very inspiring. At first I thought that you were the one that had the stoma problem but then I saw it was someone named Carol. I'm sorry for her but happy for you. BTW my daughter's fiance' used to play football in school and then he gained a lot of weight and was up to 400+ pounds. He just had the surgery in July and is losing pretty fast -- not as fast as you did. He is having the DS done in two parts. The first part just cut down the size of his stomach. When he loses 100 pounds they will do the duodenal switch and he'll be able to continue to lose more weight. Good luck to you, Tricia
