7/4/03 Almost 9 months out now. lost 145 lbs. My next appointment with Dr. Hannon is July 31. My goal is to be less 150 lbs. This would put me below 180 lbs. I have not been that size in lord only knows. I feel wonderful. I have no, no, no regrets. I see large people in malls etc, walking on sore feet and knees (I know they are sore, I see the way they are walking, It's not been long since mine felt the same way) I want to walk to them and tell them there is a way to solve this problem, put an end to the pain, and embarrassment of being so large. This has been such a gift and a chance for a good life. Each morning while I am walking I reflect on my great forturne and the chance I have been given to live again. Thanks to all on this site who give me support each day. Thanks to my family for being there though this journey, and Thanks to God for giving me each day to make a new life for my self.

It has been 5 months since my surgery, I am down 115 as of this morning. Every day now is lake a prize to me. I bought a new outfit this week end that is a Large. I can not beleive this. I will be 50 in October. by that time it will be one year since my rny. What a 50th bday present I will have given my self.

To momma angel. Thank you for the note of support. You are right. I am melting away. I am at 80 lbs gone as of this morning. I go for my 3 mo. check up on Thursday. I did not find this site until a couple of weeks ago. However, i have shared it with several WLS friends of mind since then.
