"Doctor Zahn is a very caring gentle individual. He requires each potential patient to attend a free seminar to go over the procedure and ask any questions that you may have. He allows you to ask all the questions you want and doesn't try to cut you short. My impression of him has not changed. His office staff is pleasant although I think they may need more clearly defined roles and training for the follow up aspect of different events that you must go through during the planning stages. The doctor works with the wight loss group at the hospital and they more or less prepare you for the surgery and the aftercare along the lines of support groups. The thing you should know about Dr. Zahn's approach that he orders a lot of tests pre-op, a lot. I am sure that this is good in the long run but seems like a pain as you go through it. As for the last question, he is great both ways.
The only negative that I ran into was trying to get an answer post-op about some medication that I wanted to take and after three trys I gave up."
