HELLO EVERYONE, I AM SORRY I HAVE NOT POSTED IN SO LONG BUT HAVE BEEN EXTREMELY BUSY. I AM NOW MANAGING AN UPSCALE TANNING SALON HERE IN COLLEGE STATION TX AND LOVE IT ALTHOUGH AT TIMES I AM SO BUSY I JUST MEET MYSELF COMING AND GOING. I AM VERY HAPPY AND MUCH HEALTHIER MY WEIGHT IS NOW AT 108 AND HAS BEEN HOLDING ITS OWN THERE FOR THE PAST MONTH OR TWO. I REALLY WONDERED HOW YOU STOPPED LOSING AND IF IT WOULD STOP BUT I SUPPOSE YOUR BODY KNOWS WHERE YOU NEED TO BE AND HOW TO PROTECT ITSELF. I NEED TO UPDATE MY PICTURE AND ALSO LET ANYONE OUT THERE WONDERING IF THE SURGERY WORKS, IF IT SI WORTH IT AND IF I WOULD DO IT AGAIN YES TO ALL. I am finally online at home. We have a new e-mail address at home and it is [email protected] I hope to hear from some of you real soon we have been here since 5/28 and I just got online today some problem with the new internet server and we had to wait to get a tech out of Austin to come get us going. I am doing well, I am now down to 111 lbs from 278. So yes 167lbs gone since 09/18/2000. It is hard to believe 11 months have gone by. I have a new picture to post as well as one prior to surgery. Well I am in College Station Tx and we are very happy. The transfer was a bit hectic at first and living in a motel room for a month was the pits.... but we are in a corporate apartment now, waiting for the house to sell and then we will be permanent fixtures here! Ken loves his job here and I must say it was a change we both needed and deserved. The people here are wonderful, have not found a support group yet but in time I will slow down long enough to do that. To all you post op's please remember to drink plenty of liquids and learn from my mistakes. I have had two more bouts with kidney stones since we arrived in this town but feel they were all caused from lack of drinking enough. I should have learned by now and I do always have water or ice or gatorade with me but you can never have too much. I miss you guys and will be glad when my computer gets here soI can read daily and post and get back to chatting with you guys on a regular basis. I am down to 122 and have been very blessed for it to really have come off so quickly and for finding this site and the information you guys gave me to get me to the doctor and through my surgery. Thanks to all and I will see you all soon. Gina, please call me I have tried to call several times./ Talk to you later. ^j^

Today is 5/27/01 and we have lots of news. We are being transfered to Bryan TX. We are very excited and I have contacted all the folks in Bryan listed on this site hoping some could give me info on the town. My surgery was 9/18/00 and I have gone from 278 to 125. I could not be happier. There are ups and downs but they are all worth it. If anyone has any info on Bryan or College Station please advise. Thanks to all of you who have stayed in contact and been my support group. I will stay in touch. We will leave this Tues on a house hunting trip and then the movers will come as soon as we tell them where we are going. have a wonderful weekend. I love you all. ^j^

WELL TODAY IS 5/15/01 AND SURGERY WAS 9/18/00 ALMOST 8 MONTHS AGO AND I HAVE LOST FROM 268 TO 128 I AM SO HAPPY I CAN HARDLY STAND IT IT HAS BEEN WONDERFUL AND I COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT THE SURGERY OR THE SUPPORT OF THE PEOPLE ON THIS SITE THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH FOR YOUR HELP AND ENCOURAGMENT. 140LBS HAS BEEN A MIRACLE TO GET OFF AND HAS CHANGED MY LIFE IN SO MANY WAYS. I NOW HAVE THE ENERGY TO PLAY WITH MY CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN AND FOR MY HUSBAND. OUR LIVES HAVE GREATLY IMPROVED. I NO LONGER HAVE TO TAKE ANY BLOOD PRESSURE MEDICATION OR FLUID PILL AND MY BLOOD PRESSURE IS NORMAL. AGAIN THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR HELP AND ENCOURAGMENT.

Well I am happy to report I am now down to 140lbs. According to my doctor I have 35lbs to go so I will keep on it I really have not suffered or had any problems loosing, it has all come easily and I thank God it has not been a struggle. I have not cheated or really even been tempted, seems as though my taste just changed after the surgery, but I have all of you to thank for my success, without all the good info on this site and the support I have recieved i would have been lost thank you all very much! love and hugs ^j^

i have finally reached 160lbs. I am so pleased and I hope you all have the support, the love and the great results I have had. Thank you all for being there for me you are all like and extended family and I love yo all. Good luck to all the pre-ops and I hope all awaiting approvals get those soon. Have a wonderful day. ^j^
