"When I first met Dr. Homan I felt in a way that I already knew him. He had done a VBG on my brother about a year ago, and my brother was so happy (and still is) he couldn't stop talking aout the doctor. A trip from Ohio seems like a long way, but it was well worth it. Everything about the experience in White Plains was favorable. Dr. Homan was sympathetic to my plight, reassuring, and yet without holding back on information I needed to know..including possible complications of surgery, eating problems, and interpersonal problems. After I met with his therapist and dietitian, the surgery (RNY) wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. He calls me at intervals now that I am back home, and he is available by email to answer questions or allay concerns. I'm down 90 pounds in two months! It looks like my brother was right after all!"
