"I was very pleased with the care that I received during my stay; I had two minor concerns that were effectively dealt with: the first involved an orderly who made a snide remark about my weight while taking me down for my leak test, and the second concern was with the two hour wait for a wheelchair when I was discharged. Other than those two issues, I have no complaints about my hospital stay; my nurses were fantastic, I received pain medication whenever I needed it, and everyone was very attentive to my needs."
"I had my consultation with Dr. Krause on August 28, 2002. I had to wait over five months to see him, and now I know why he is booked; he is fantastic!
Dr. Krause is the first doctor I have had who has ever personally replied to an e-mail. He is also the first doctor that has ever made me feel completely at ease during my appointment. He willingly answered questions, he actually read the brief medical history that I had written up, he looked me in the eye while I was talking to him... it was wonderful. I can honestly say that I left his office feeling like my needs mattered to him, and he cared about my well-being as a person, because he saw me for me, and not just my fat. Dr. Krause is sending my insurance information out this week, so hopefully I'll have an approval within the next couple of weeks.
