"I had a very good first impression of Dr. de La Torre at Midwest Bariatric. He was very informative. He tape records part of the conversation. He goes into detail about all risks involved. He wants his pts to not think of this as a "Hollywood" Diet, due to celebritiesd having this done and it being publisized. After all the risks and why NOT to do this, he then proceeds to all the good points. He emphasizes after care. He is extremely personable. I would rate him a 10+++ ! One other note.......it was he and Dr. Scott who developed and created the "LAP" procedure. They instruct Dr.s everywhere!! I am very confident in my choice of doctors. His office staff were very friendly and made me feel "special".....Nancy, the RN coordinator, is tons of help!! I saw absolutely no disorganization what so ever."
