Hi Everyone! Thank you one and all for your thoughts and prayers! I am 6 days post op and everyday that goes by is better than the one before! Today is the first day that I went with no pain meds! I will keep my profile updated! Thanks again! Kathy

Hello, Im her daughter Kate and my mother went in for surgery this morning. I talked to my father who is there with her about an hour ago. He said that my mother was done and that she is in the recovery room. Her surgery went very well! every thing turned out ok. We were told that the surgery would take around 3 hours but my mother only took 2 and 1/2 hours. I am goin in to my mother tonight so I will post more information as it is recieved.

KH - I whish you sweet, peaceful dreams tonight of the healthier, skinnier life that is just around the corner. It's worth every minute of anxiety when you come out of recovery & your doctor looks at you and says 'your surgery went wonderfully - everything is good'. It is a sweet, sweet feeling - I think I might have cried when he told me that if I hadn't immediatley drifted back into my drug induced sleep.
