August 29th Dear Laura: Bless Your Heart!!! You're really a trooper--ten hours in surgery? WoW!!! We share the same surgery day, I'm not sure how much I've lost because I don't have a scale; But, I don't believe it's been 27lbs like yourself. Is it easy to feel/tell? Anyway, I'm glad you are feeling well enough to shop, I did the same thing today, plus drove 180 miles home from my mothers. Please take care and hope to hear more from you soon. Sincerely, Lori Ann

I'M ALIVE! :) Well, I am 9 days post op and down 27lbs! :) I was my doctors first Lap procedure and bless his heart he tried, but it did not work out. I ended up in surgery for 10 hrs and he finally had to open me up to fix a leak. BUT!, I am alive and well and losing weight! :) I feel pretty good today. Everyday gets better and better. :) I went shopping today which ALWAYS makes me feel better. LOL Well, I wont make this long! THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR THE SUPPORT! I LOVE YOU ALL!!!! :)

Laura~Today is my five month anniversary and I am down 73 pounds and 6 sizes- I wish you all the success and health that this surgery can provide- I will keep you in my thoughts this day and pray that God keeps you in his protection…Congratulations!!

Hey Laura! We share the same surgery date so we will share the same new birthday! I am so excited for all of us.Only WE know the pain and suffering we have endured,therefore, only we can understand the joy and peace that came with the decision to have the surgery and then the ordeal of the approval process!Have a swift and easy recovery...see ya on the losers side!
