Dexter Turnquest

"My first impression of Dr. Turnquest was great. He was so friendly and he made me feel very comfortable. His office staff is very busy and they try to help as best they can. They sometimes made me feel like they were too busy for my questions especially post-op. But I did get them answered. Dr. Turnquests aftercare is good. He basically told me to watch what I eat and told me of foods to be leary of. Every one is different so it is hard to say how one food is going to effect someone. For example, he said that many people have a hard time with milk. I don't. He doesn't really have a structured aftercare program and that might have been nice to have. He informed me of the risks of this surgery very fully. Overall, Dr. Turnquest himself is a great physician,he cares. His surgical competence and his bedside manner are both great. I was very comfortable with his knowledge and I always felt I was in good hands. The anesthesiologist I didn't care for much and her line that she installed through my throat left a scar on my nose but I suppose that comes with the territory and might not have been anyones fault. It might have just been an isolated incident. Like I said though, Dr. Turnquest is a great physician and I would recommend him to anyone."

Houston Northwest Medical Center

"The nurse that I had while in intesive care was phenomenal. I paid extra to get a private room. Which I received after being released from ICU. It was a nice hospital."
