"I thought he was very nice and understanding. Very informational. My impression of him stayed about the same- he was very laid back and easy to talk to. His office staff was exceptional as well- all very very very sweet and caring people. I really didn't have anything about him that I didn't like. He emphasizes aftercare A LOT- which is great- I think more surgeons need to be like that from what I hear. Yes- support group, physical therapy, follow up visits. He was pretty blunt with the risks of surgery. I would rate him as a great and caring guy. The only thing I don't like about him is that in the post op visits- I never saw him at all- the nurse was great though. I think that surgical competence and bedside manner are equally important- maybe bedside manner a little more- but he was in frequently to check on me. "
