"I had initial consult last February for a May 2002 surgery date. He was very informative and friendly. Unfortunately I broke my leg in March and had to postpone my surgery until the fall. I had complications with the leg and had to postpone again until March 2003. My orthopedic surgeon made the decision that I should go ahead with the surgery since it will help my leg if I lose the weight. I phone Dr. Sawicki to consult with him and he returned my call the next day, was very cooperative in getting me a re-consult so that I could go ahead with the surgery in March, as planned. I have yet to have that consult, but my experience with Dr. S. has been very positive so far."
