"Dr. Doyt Redmond is my surgeon. He has over 20 years experience with being a surgeon and has been doing WLS for over a year. My first consultation was a great one. He was very kind and compassionate and spent about 45 minutes explaining the surgery and what it entailed. This included the risks and benefits of the surgery. He also wanted to know my knowledge of the surgery and what research I had done. He had a warm and personable personality and made me feel comfortable.
His staff was also very pleasant and were kind and considerate. Dee is the clinical manager of the office and most of you conversations will take place with her. She gave me a list of preferred psychologists, dieticians, and also a PCP. All of these people were in favor of gastic bypass surgery and helped me get all my clearances at a fast rate.
I have a pre op appt with the doctor a week prior to my surgery where he will go more into detail about the aftercare program. He did mentioned how important follow up appt are with him as well as with my PCP.
I would definitely rate him a 10!"
