"He is a brilliant doctor with exceptional surgical skills. He is confident and understanding. He is well-published and really understands and has mastered his procedures. I have known him for just over 3 years. He performed a lap-band on me 3 years ago and just recently revised the procedure to the full gatric by-pass laproscopically. My scars were almost invisible last time and are even less this time, even though this time the procedure was much more invasive. His staff is very helpful and caring. They always answer any little question I call with and respond immediately if I am unable to get them on the phone. He went over all the aspects of surgery in detail and is very straight-forward. The best thing about Dr. Spivak is that he is a specialist in the field and has been for a long time. He really knows what he is doing. I met w/four other doctors in Texas before finding him.
