Sept 11 -- I have not actually talked to Debbie since last Thurs or Fri, but her surgery went well, without a hitch, and she's home recuperating. Last I spoke with her, she was doing pretty good. Trying to get her protein requirement down....I know that's hard! Hang in there Deb! You're doing fine!!! So glad you're on the other side now!! Love ya!

Best wishes on your upcoming surgery....I have my Lap RNY on the same day as you...so, I know we will both be recovering about the same time.. Good Luck!

Hello, I just wanted to stop by and wish you all the luck in the world on your surgery! I am praying for you that you will have a safe and speedy recovery. Hi Debbie ~ I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers for a successful and safe surgery and a speedy and uneventful recovery. Please check out our local online support group in the Dallas area at ~ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Dallasites ~ and join. Also there is a site for Baylor patients at ~http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BaylorWLS ~ just let the moderator know who is your surgeon and when your surgery is. Both groups have been very helpful to me in my wls journey. My surgery was 4/17/01 with Dr. McCarty and I have lost 72# so far. God Bless!!!

Debbie, best wishes for your upcoming surgery. I had mine last November, and I have never had a single regret. One thing that may help to remember is that the nervousness is over with when you wake up in the recovery room to your new life.
