It's me. It's been 10 weeks since surgery and I've lost 41 lbs. I walk up to 2 miles a day and I'm feeling better and better. All of my joint aches are not gone, probably my age!! But life is much better than before.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I spoke with Maureen earlier this afternoon and she sounded pretty good for someone who had major surgery yesterday. She has been up walking and using her morphine pump today and will be getting out of the hospital on Thursday. I am so proud of her - she is doing great.

Hi Maureen - Best of Luck on your surgery. I will say a prayer for you to cross to the other side safely and to have a speedy recovery! Please check out our local online support group at - http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Dallasites - this group was very helpful to me before, during and after my surgery (4/17/01). God Bless!!
