This one year anniversary since my surgery has come so quickly. I "officially" weigh 210. That is down to 210 pounds. I still have a ways to go but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel now. I feel so much better. The first 2 months were very hard but if I had it all to do over again I would do it again in a heart-beat. It truly was the best thing that I could have done. I was taken off of high blood pressure meds when I had lost 50 pounds as my blood pressure was low. I never had to be medicated for diabetes. I have had a real bout with depression but that was because I went off of my depression meds when I had the surgery. I took 10 months to catch up with me. But I am back on anti-depressants and getting back to "normal" now. I pray I can come down another 50 pounds. I got to the point that the weight was not coming off like it did the first 90 pounds. Exercise is a must. Walking is the trick for me...
