"Angel Barb"...here for an update! 0:) Gloria has lost 31 POUNDS since her surgery on 04/05!! She is absolutely ecstatic!! Three cheers for you, Glo! What a fabulous achievement!!! This afternoon, Gloria told me that she finds herself lacking energy. Considering the dramatic adjustment her body is going through, it's certainly understandable. Keep the faith, gurl! I love ya & I'm rootin' for ya! 0:)

"Angel Barb"...take 4! 0:) Gloria is home from the hospital & doing well overall. She IS having gas pains & would like to know how other "posties" have dealt with this uncomfortable problem. Also, Gloria asked me to extend her heartfelt thanks to everyone for their posts and emails. There's no substitute for a solid support network, & she is so grateful to the AMOS family for rallying around her! God Bless!!! 0:)

"Angel Barb"...take 3! 0:) I just talked to Gloria, and she is in such wonderful spirits! She had an Upper GI this morning & there were no leaks nor any other complications. She had her first meal - 2 oz of juice - and it stayed with her just fine. Gloria has followed through with everything the doctor & nurses have requested, and she'll probably be heading home within the next day. Please visit her surgery profile & post some kudos!
