Hello All, I spoke with Martha tonight. She came home from the hospital today (Saturday) and is staying with her sister for a while. She seems to be doing fine. It appears the broth they serve at the hospital was not too appetizing to her. She didn't say if she has lost any weight yet but she did say she still has not eaten. Thanks Martha for all the advice you gave me for next week and welcome home to the lighter side.

Hi Everyone, I'm posting for Teri again. Teri spoke with Martha on Thursday and said she had a pretty rough night Wednesday night. I suppose the party stops with the moraphine drip. Martha was thinking she may come home of Friday but didn't feel that she was ready. I'm sure everyone joins me in wishing her a speedy recovery.

Hi Everyone, I spoke with Catherine of Dr Bolar's office today. I asked how Martha was doing and she said she had just been down there to visit them. She said she and her room mate were having a grand old time down there in their pajamas. They had the curtains wide open and partying. ha. (Martha, you'll have to tell me how to party in a hospital room, ha) You go girl!!!!

Martha, Although we didn't get to share our surgery date, believe me, I was with you. Thanks for being my angel & my friend. Hope to see you soon.

Hi, I'm posting this for Teri. Teri said: Martha Hall's daughter Heidi called me at home last night to tell me that Martha is doing just fine. She said she really isn't feeling to much pain yet (thank goodness for that morphine drip), and that she is up and walking around already. I think I'll give her today to recoup and try to get ahold of her tomorrow. Maybe by then she'll be up to actually talking about it, but I know these first few days can be pretty rough.
