I spoke to Beth last evening and this morning. Yesterday she was home, but very sleep deprived, tired and having some difficulty breathing. Today I'm happy to report she had a good night's sleep in the bed and is rested and breathing much better. Beth is seeing the world through different eyes today. She's on the road to recovery and I'm very happy to have met such a wonderful, new friend. This is Sandy,signing out and taking off her angel wings.

I spoke to Beth's sister last night. Beth was having her IV removed and getting ready to go home. She thought she would rest and breathe better if she could be in a recliner. I will try to talk to her at home today. Beth is going through the roughest time right now and needs our encouragement. We're rootin' for you, Beth! Angel Sandy

Beth was feeling a little better last night, but is having some pain because the doctor discontinued her pain pump. She's a little short of breath at times, but says her doctor expected this due to the extra work he had to do because of previous surgeries. However, she was up in the chair and is maintaining her spirits. She is lucky to have her two beautiful daughters there too help support her. Hopefully, Beth can come home on Saturday. We just know you are going to feel better and heal quickly, Beth. Angel Sandy

I spoke to Beth last night and she wasn't feeling so well. She had a temperature of 100 and was on some IV antibiotics. But she continues to get up and walk and is using her spirometer. Let's hope Beth is feeling better today. Cheer her on, gang. Sandy

Beth - After reading the messages you have received, I'm glad to hear that things went well. Call me once you get home and are ready for visitors.

BETH: So glad to hear you made it to the 'other side'. Sorry about the scar tissue - I hope that, with monitoring, etc. that will not be much of a problem for you. :) I just wanted you to know you are in my thoughts and prayers today. All the best,

Beth's angel, Sandy here. I talked to Beth's daughter last night and she said Beth's surgery went very well. We were a bit concerned because she had scar tissue from a previously reversed JIB, but her excellent surgeon did a great job. She stayed in the ICU last night, but was up, even with her pain. I'll speak to her today when she gets to a regular hospital room. I know we are all praying for Beth's speedy recovery. Sandy

Beth, it was wonderful to finally talk to you. You have such a positive attitude and a great surgeon. I just know your surgery will come off without a hitch. Love from your angel, Sandy
