Dr. Kane Sr. is older, and is as sharp as a tack.
He is a very kind, very knowledgeable, surgeon, he talks a lot
and he listens. He cares.
He has a practice with his son, Dr. Kane Jr. and 2 other surgeons.
Over time my opinion of Dr. Kane has changed,
and for the better. I appreciate the fact
that I had my surgery performed by
probably the best surgeon in the Chicago area.
He has been performing this kind of surgery
for decades. His office staff is always kind, and very helpful.
There is great emphasis on after care, follow up appointments,
obesity support group meetings 2 times a month.
He went over everything, explained the surgery, risks, etc. in great detail.
Overall, I would have to give him a 10 on a scale of 1-10.
