ANGELUPDATE: Just spoke with Mike's ICU nurse and she said his surgery went well he will remain in ICU for the night they are still trying to control his pain with medication other than that hes doing good . Please welcome him to the losing side by posting on his page . Cindy D

Michael, Congratulations on your surgery today! I wish you well on your journey to weight loss! Please keep everyone posted on how your recovering. My surgery is scheduled for 10/25/01 and I'm very anxious! The best thing is knowing that we will always have ongoing support from all of our other WLS buddies. May God be with you!

Dear MikeH...This is it...It's the first day of your NEW Life! I'm so very happy for you and wish I lived in sunny CA so I could go see you in the hospital. You're a great guy and I'm so glad that you're my friend. I know you've probably heard this and will probably hear this over and over, but I'm gonna say it again. Please do everything that they tell you to do so you will do well. We all love you and will be praying for you to get through this with little or no pain and that you will recover VERY quickly.
