Hi Susan, Thank you so much for your support. I know I'm being morbid (no pun intended) thinking about all the negative things but I guess I've just had too much time to think about everything. I originally went to see the surgeon on June 6th and was scheduled for September 17th. Too much time in between!!! As the time draws closer, though, I've definitely decided I'm ready. I can't wait to start losing weight and feeling great. Congratulations on your success.

Hi Susan!!! I came through the surgery just fine!!I had an OpenRNY on Aug. 6th,and so far, have lost 26 lbs.My Dr. changed his mind about the lap. procedure because he had a couple bleeds at the staple line, and needed to work those bugs out before proceeding with others.I am fine with this.I saw the post about how well you are doing from your angel..congrats!!!How much have you lost now??How are you feeling??I talked with Brian Goodknight the other night, and he works for La Canada school dist. now,but remembers you fondly...what a small world we live in!!Best to you..would love to keep in touch as time allows. **LATER DAY ANGEL** I was privelaged to meet Susan when I was her Angel in April. Well, I was able to get together again with her yesterday while visiting another Angelite...HOLY COW!!SHE LOOKS TERRIFIC!! As always a really beatiful person, but the physical changes in her are incredible! Lots of smiles and giggles about her new life on the other side. Thank you again Susan for the opportunity to be her friend in WLS The Luckiest Angel

Hi Susan, thank you so much for introducing yourself and posting to my page. I just finished reading your story. What an inspiration you are to me. I think your approach to exercise is a great idea. I had been considering a personal trainer as well. I want to maximize the amount of weight lost during that window of opportunity, too. If you have any further insight or tips to share, I'd love to hear them. Also, would it be poor form of me to ask if you'd consider being my angel? Thanks for reaching out and for sharing. Julie
