Angel reporting to the WLS group.......I went to visit Julie this morning and she looks absolutely great. She was sitting up in bed with her legs crossed "indian style," and had on her own nitie. She can move easily and said that she had been walking almost since she woke up from surgery. She also told me that she was a little tired - but, while I was there, she didn't apprear to be tired. She is able to sip a little bit of apple juice - every 15 minutes. She hopes to go home this afternoon. Way to go Julie. Iam sure you are ready for the weight loss part of your journey to begin. Welcome to the other side. Thanks for letting me be your angel. It was a pleasure to have you as my first assignment. This angel is signing off for now.Mary H. 22 years, 8 months ago

OK everyone, this is my first time as an "official angel" and I want to do everything just right. Here we go............hang on for the ride of a lifetime. Julie will be having surgery tomorrow, Aug. 30th. She is ready as she can be. Her husband had the same surgery at the beginning of August so she knows what to expect. However, everyone needs some a bit of very personal support on this phase of the WLS journey. So, if you haven't already done so, stop by Julie's page and give her some encouragement. Thank you.Mary H. 22 years, 8 months ago
