Sandra- You've got the best surgeon around. Be prepared for some pain- but the more you walk the better it gets. Say Hi to the Staff on 7B and tell them I miss them- They were the best! Heal up and post when you can!

Good luck on your coming surgery. My prayers are with you, and hoping for an uneventful surgery, and a speedy, painfree recovery. Keep your focus on healing. Make sure you walk, and keep up your breathing exercise. YOU CAN DO THIS! See you on the other side.

Hi Sandra, I'm from Lino Lakes, we've spoken before. I was just thinking it was getting close to your surgery date so I thought I'd send you some words of encouragement. Now that I'm reading the posts on your page I'm so sorry to hear about your husband. I just want you to know I'm praying for you and if you have any questions please e-mail me. Also, we have the same surgeon and I am almost 4 months post op with no complications. I hope this is reassuring. Again, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Jean

Hi Sandra "Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, any one can start from now and make a brand new ending." Sandra - I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your husband. I know that words won't heal your hurt but God can and will. Also, I wish you a successful surgery, painless recovery and happy weight loss. My surgery is scheduled for 9/4/02 and I am really happy but also getting a little nervous. I just pray a lot. My 26 year old daughter (who is thin and beautiful) is totally opposed and will hardly even talk about it. I don't know what I'm am going to do about that situation. Again, God bless and I will certainly keep you in my prayers and hope you do the same for me.
