"Doctor Deveney is the first in quite a long list of docs that has given me any reason to think I may get past this. My family doc just says he is sorry but he doesnt know anything we havent tried to make a difference. He has prayed with me and done every test known to him and still have no answers. I am very hopeful as is Doc. Deveney' that the staff at his office has tried to help me put together the appeal letter they all seem very nice. I guess the thing that I like least about him would be the way he wrote the first letter, he knew that my insurance excluded the weightloss surgery so starting that letter Debra Jones is a morbidly obese..... problably didnt help
I thought he would tell them the medical problems I have first and say that this surgery would help them and may also cause me to loose weight, therfor avoiding future problem. His office gave me a booklet on the surgery choices and gave the risks involved.
I have only seen him once but I am sure the after care will be very good
I think he is a competent surgeon as well as a caring man who would like to help peole like me"
