Hi everyone, I just realized that I just passed my 6 mth anniversary!! I just wanted to post and say everything is going good. My incision has FINALLY healed. I am down to 182 from 268!! I've been working out 3 times a week. My fat percentage has went from 42.8 to 38.4 since Mar. 13 since I started the gym. (they have a fat analyzer at the gym) I can honestly say I'm glad I had this surgery now. It's been a rough road getting to that opinion, but I'm glad I made it there. I feel better and look better. I feel so much prouder of myself meeting my kids friends etc. It is so wild to me when one of my friends whom haven't seen me in a couple of months tell me "your just gonna wilt away to nothing" !! What a hoot!! Anyways I hope everyone had a Blessed Easter. GOD BLESS YOU ALL, TODAY, TOMMORROW, AND ALWAYS~~~

Hiya everybody!! I'm so sorry its been so long since i've updated. :( i'm not online at home at this time. i'm using a friends computer now. I'm doing well. I'm working and feeling really good. I'm down a total of uuuhhhh ummmmmm drum roll please~~~~~ 74 pounds!!! from 268 to 194! Getting down under the 200 mark was so awesome. That was a big goal for me. the next one is below 150. I hope all is well for everyone. Hang in there and put it all in GODS hands. O I am still dealing with some open wound~~sigh~~ its improving just very slowwwww. I am 4 months post op on the 22nd of this month. I do check my mail periodically, so keep touch. GOD bless you all today, tommorrow, and always~~~~~

Renee, You question about bruising I would call your Dr. and schedule an appointment. They would do labs that could tell why your bruising. That is SOMETHING your Dr. needs to know about. I work in a lab and when I draw people who have bruising I always let them know they need to talk to the Dr. about that. Let me know how things go Sherry

Hey everybody!! I hope everyone had a BLESSED CHRISTMAS. I also hope everyone has an AWESOME NEW YEAR!! I wanted to drop in and say HI. I myself am doing better every day. :) Still dealing with that open wound, but its greatly improved. :) I got on those scales today and 5 more pounds gone 4 good!! WEEEEEEE I have really adjusted to my new lifestyle. I've learned my pouch a lot over these past 2 months. I have lost a total, since Oct 22~~DRUM ROLL PLEASE~~53 pounds!!! I think I am no longer morbidly obese! Just obese! I always hated that morbidly attached to me. Take care all. Those of you pre op. Hang in there. Eat right as ya can. Take those vitamins NOW! Hi, I just wanted to update. I am 2 mths post-op today!! I realized that when I got an email from AMOS! I'm doing much better. Incision is very near being healed. I feel great. I have lost 45 pounds. I can eat pretty much whatever I want. I just have to keep it slow and moderate. I'm happy that I have no problems with any certain food. I just have problems if I overdo it. I've learned my new stomach a lot. Trial and error. I pray everyone has a Blessed holiday season and I pray for all of you having surgery soon to be well, and recovery quickly. Hugsssss. Hi everybody, I know its been a long time since I posted. I wanted to let everyone know that I'm finally starting to heal at a fairly rapid pace. I'm feeling MUCH better. I have had no problem with eating anything. I even tried steak yesterday, and had no problem!! The main thing that makes me sick on the stomach is these darn antibiotics!! But hopefully soon that will be over. I've lost 38 pounds!! I'm 6 weeks and 5 days post-op. The first couple of months are definetly a rough ride, but I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and I wish everyone a joyful Christmas, and a Merry New Year. Take care. With lots of love, God Bless you all, today, tommorrow, and always~~~~~~~~

Hi everyone!! I wanted to post and let everyone know that I'm finally feeling human again. The infection seems to be under control, now I just have to wait for the insicion to heal and close. I'm feeling much better also. I have lost 31 pounds. I am 3wks and 3 days post op. I'm am so very thankful for all the prayers and well wishes from everyone here at AMOS.
