"My surgery will be done by Hickory Surgical Clinic. Dr. Leland Cook and Dr. Monty Cox do the gastric bypasses. Dr. Cox will be my surgeon but it is not connected to the link here at OH so I put Dr. Cook in as my doctor so everyone will know how things are going and I will know what is going on with everyone else. Dr. Cox put me at ease and was very informative about all of the risks and benefits of the RNY. I had over a page of questions to ask him and he answered all of them. His office staff are very nice and efficent. I was called back promptly. I was treated very nice. You couldn't ask for a better staff to help you become healthy. There is nothing that I didn't like about Dr. Cox. Anyone who is thinking about using Dr. Cox should know that they cannot ever smoke again even after surgery. That he requires you to come to the after care and support groups. I would rate Dr. Cox and his staff at a 10."
