Well, I am back to the land of the living. My surgery was last Tuesday and everything went as well as expected. I have been home since Friday and have been doing allright. I didn't get anything for pain from the doc except for Tylenol, which didn't help. Fortunately, a new friend brought me some of her pain meds, which made a major difference. I feel more functional now. I have been having major loose stools, but apparently that is expected. I am not hungry at all, and pretty much have to make myself eat my soups and drink my supplements. I am EXCESSIVELY thirsty, though. I cannot get enough water. I hated water before, and now I LOVE it....especially with lots of ice. I would kill for a Sprite, but I don't think that's gonna happen, LOL:) I just want to thank all of you who kept me in your prayers and wanted to send prayers and well wishes out to all the pre-ops and post-ops out there. I know it can only get better from here.

Hello everyone. I talked to Kristi yesterday afternoon and she sounded wonderful. She had been taken off the heavy medications and they had her on regular tylenol(after only 3 days!) Hope it was working! She seems to be doing great. She should be getting home sometime today. Congrats on your "New Life" and on being on the "Other Side". I am sorry if I asked too many questions yesterday, just so much I wanted to know! LoL!! May GOD continue to guide you through your recovery safely. GOD BLess Katrina

First time angel reporting! (o/) I got to talk to Kristi around 2:25 today. She sounded so great!! I was so suprised! I thought that I would be talking to her mother or her sister but she answered the phone herself. Her voice was so strong! She said she was hurting but that all went well. May GOD continue to quide you through your recovery safely, GOD BLESS..

I can't believe my surgery is in the morning! Hmmmm....what to eat tonight for the last "big" meal, LOL :) I swear I have food on the brain:-} I have to be at the hospital at 5am, which means I have to get up at 4am:( Well, I am sure I will be too nervous/excited to sleep anyway. Wish me well! Thanks for all your prayers!
