Regina, I am so glad that you are doing great. Your post has truly touched me and has inspired me to continue with my surgery. Faith is such a wonderful tool in this world. Please call me when you are up to it.

PRAISE THE LORD!! My God is so faithful! I had my surgery on June 6th and when I woke up I was told it took almost 9 hours. I had no Pain then and I have had no Pain to this day. I want to say A BIG Thank You to my Angels: Jeannie Singleton and Tachia Peck. I will repay the love and attention I have received from you when its your turns. I pray that your surgery goes as smooth and painless as mine. I came home on the 9th. I was on liquids for 5 days and today I have started the pureed foods. I have been able to sleep in my own bed since the first night home. I was able to sleep on my side for the last 2 nights which is great. The nurses at Crawford Long Hospital 3rd floor are THE BEST!! YAHOO! RA! RA! RA! FOR YOU. If anyone is in the Atlanta area and does not have a doctor yet I have THE BEST there is Dr. Christopher Hart and Dr Steven Archer at Emory Clinic. My experience has been wonderful! No PAIN!!! NO PROBLEMS!!!! BUT ALL MY THANKS AND PRAISE GOES TO MY LORD GOD FOR THE HEALING. Psalms 118:8 It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. I have nothing negative to say about this surgery just go into it with Jesus and be positive.

I contacted the hospital and Regina's husband stated that she is currently in the operating room. He has not received any information yet about her current condition or any updates on the surgery.

Regina, best wishes for your upcoming surgery. I had mine last November, and I have never had a single regret. Fortunately, the nervousness is over with when you wake up in the recovery room to your new life.
