"6?29/01: I have decided to change my surgeon to Dr. Burrowes. I made this decsion because I have spoken to someone I have met on this site that was kind enough to give me her # and we spoke in detail. She suggested that with my ins. (medicare) I would have a better chance and less of a hassle getting approval. She also said he is very a very caring and paitient Dr.and has a great bedside manner and that his staff is wonderful. I will update accrordingly. :)

Hi all! Hope all are doing well...:)I met Dr.Burrowes for the first time yesterday. He seems to be a very nice person and a Dr. who is genuinaly concerned about this very important step you are about take. He expalins in very plain terms that having this surgery is very serious and YOU have to be willing to change your lifestyle and your way of thinking about food FOREVER. He wants you to be sure that this is what you truly want. "
