"My 1st meeting with Dr Weiss was on December 19, 2002. From the minute he walked in the room to talk to me I was comfortable with him, and for me with dr's thats not usual. I had 3 pages of questions that he sat down and answered each and every one of them and he didnt act like he was rushing me or in a hurry to be somewhere else. Over time I liked him even more he seems to really care about his patients and takes the little office time to get to know them. His office staff is also great, everyone is so nice and organized. My only concern is that he has only done 20 surgeries so I was a little nervious about that but I met someone at the supportgroup meeting that he had done the operation on 2 weeks prior and at that point I felt a little more at ease. He has worked with and watched bariatric surgeons for over a year and I feel that he can and will do a great job.

"I went to see Dr. Clark to discuss the Surgery, I was afraid he would say no and I would have to use all sorts of ammunition but I didn't. I just handed him the letter asking for the refferral and he just said ok, this looks like a good idea for you. He went over the types and what he thought would be best for me and that was that. I am now waiting to get the psych. eval and letter from my Social worker to submit to the insurance co."
