"Dr. Warnock seems very competent. He has had much experience with WLS and to my knowledge is the only surgeon in the WF area that does these kinds of proceedures.
Debi takes care of all the WLS insurance stuff as well as maintaining files,etc. She can be very difficult to reach and you definitely know when she's having a bad day. However, when she's having a good day she is very kind and flexible. She will go to the mat for you with your insurance.
I have not yet had my final surgical consult and so we have not discussed aftercare. However, I do have a folder of information that was sent home with me when I scheduled the date of surgery with Debi.
10/1 Dr. Warnock has performed my surgery and I could not have asked for a more kind and caring doctor. He did rounds every morning and was very supportive. He released me from the hospital to go to the hospitality house for one day to make sure I was ready to make the hour drive home.
I knew I was supposed to call him the next morning. What I didn't know was that he was going to come to the hospitality house to see me as part of his morning rounds. Wow!! That was above and beyond the call of duty. That's when he completely earned my respect."
