Well I spoke with Krista, Mike's wife, about a half hour ago and he has made it through surgery and is now on the losing side with us. He is in a considerable amount of pain right now but hanging in there. Currently he is in the ICU and will probably start walking later on this evening. Dr. Jayakumar did notice that his liver was enlarged but that is most likely to his diabetes and being overweight but he did take a biopsy to be on the safe side. Please take the time if you have not already to post words of support and encouragement to his surgery page.

thanks to everyone for their thoughts and prayers. only 2 days till surgery and im nervous but looking forward to getting it over and on my way to a new me. ill keep everyone posted on my progress.
