"My first impression of Dr. Rumbaut was through emails. He speaks excellent English, having done his residency in Houston at Anderson. Both he, and everyone I met in connection with him, are very concerned about one's welfare. I have never ever experienced the quality of care I did in Monterrey. It was excellent. The nursing staff was superb. Dr. Rumbaut is one of the most charismatic engaging men that I have met. Spent 1/2 an hour talking with me post-surgery, and even visited me at my hotel to check my incisions. He continues to be very responsive to me post-op. I can always reach him via email or his cell phone. I would recommend him without reservation for both a lap-band or an RNY. Only negative thing I can think of is the distance. I am using a US based doctor for follow-up; however, if it was easier for me to get to Monterrey, I would use Dr. Rumbaut. I still hope to see him at least annually."
