Danielle - First of all, let me tell you, you are NOT alone. Many post-ops are going through the same things as you are. I read an article that said after wls patients start to drastically lose weight, many friends/family become distant both physically and emotionally. One reason stated because of our size, most people put us in a certain category that fits THEM. Well, when we lose a lot of weight, we must move to another category and some of our "friends" don't want to move us. Remember that your body has gone through major changes and emotionally, it takes a while for it to catch up. Hang in there and keep your head up! Remember that all things happen for a reason, maybe something is drawing you to Tennessee to be with your mother. Lastly, Congrats on your success, you have done so well. Keep up the good work.
