"I was initially on their bariatric floor following my surgery. However, because of complications I was transferred to the respiratory ICU. The nurses were EXCELLENT there! I was there for a week and could not have had better care. Anything I need or wanted was not too much to ask. Each nurse made me feel that I was their ONLY patient! A++++ to the nurses, the hospital and my surgeon (Dr. Friedman)"
"I thought that he was very informative. Very helpful in the appeals process. He seems genuinely concerned for his patients. I have heard alot of good things about Dr. Friedman. He gave me alot of information. He also wanted to make sure that I had researched this fully. He seems very professional and up to date on current information regarding this procedure. I would recommend him to anyone. He did cover all the risks with me. He wanted to meet with my husband and I both,which I think is a good idea. This type of procedure affects the family as a whole. He made sure that my husband and I wereaware of the all pro's and con's. I give him an A+!

I swear by Dr. Friedman. I am no expert on surgeon qualifications but Dr. Friedman, in my eyes, is one of the best. His bedside manner is excellent and he is very supportive. I saw him daily during my hospital stay and he never made me feel that I was taking his time. He carefully answered any question I had and never made me feel that I had asked a stupid question. Several of my nurses either knew someone who had the surgery performed by Dr Friedman- or they themselves had the surgery performed by him. I never once heard a negative. I still give Dr Friedman an A+++"
